Bin Sorter Installation Underway
December 12th, 2010A busy summer for the maintenance and project team at Pinepac having recently commenced the installation of our Green Mill Bin Sorter. Following a visit to Australia in late 2008 this equipment was purchased and shipped to NZ in early 2009 where it has been in storage since.
This is an exciting project for Pinepac and one that has brought together the high level technical skills and expertise of our maintenance team and selected external contractors. The project team is confident that the build will meet its deadline and we will keep you up to date with its progress.

Optimiser Up and Running
October 7th, 2010Pinepac’s new Dimter Optimiser is up and running. With delivery and installation all having gone to plan, operators have received training and staff and supervisors are very pleased with the new machine. Initial runs have shown great improvement in accuracy and recovery.

New Optimiser arrives safely
September 20th, 2010Pinepac has taken delivery today of its new Dimter Optimiser S90.
The team are really excited about getting this new unit up and running. All going to plan the optimiser should be fully operational within one week. A big thank you to the team at W&R Jacks who coordinated the sourcing of this machine.
OPTIMISER INSTALLATION ON TRACK
September 7th, 2010Both maintenance and production staff are looking forward to the delivery of a new Dimter S90 ‘OptiCut’ Optimiser which is on track for delivery 20th September 2010. All substeel foundations are completed and commissioning is expected to take approximately one week. Read the rest of this entry »
