Sawmilling and timber processing

Pinepac is fast becoming one of the few sawmilling companies in New Zealand with a strong mix of vertical integration. Our plants can add value to almost any diameter of tree from 90mm through to 1metre in diameter.

Typical uses of Radiata Pine include sawn timber for building - both indoor and outdoor, decorative pieces, round farm fencepost and building poles as well as industrial fibre for pulp, paper and packaging, plywood, laminated veneer lumber (LVL) reconstituted particle and fibre board.

At our sawmilling plants at Kumeu (specialising in post and pole) and Whenuapai (specialising in sawn timber) we have the equipment and capability to make full use of one of the most practical and versatile wood species available.
