First in class for Sciarone at Woodhill 100
In one of the most challenging races in the 30 year history of the Woodhill 100, Rene Sciarone steered his Chenowth Toyota to 3rd outright and 1st in the Super 1600 class.
Starting the race from 4th position Rene soon slotted into 3rd position, 1st Super 1600 class car and held that to the finish.
“I had a great day, the car ran perfect from start to finish” comment Rene on his result.
Brother Rick Sciarone, driving his Nissan powered Eagle chassis had a more challenging race. A broken shock saw him take an excursion into the trees, the damage too major to repair and he was forced to withdraw.
