New livery unveiled for the 2010/11 season

After a low key unveiling of the 2010/11 livery, Andrew set about spending the weekend at Speedshow spreading the word about ITM Racing.  We gave away hundreds of posters and colouring books, made the day of many children by letting them sit in the race car, and had a few yarns with racing fans.

Andrew participated in the karting challenge on Sunday where it was “the old drivers” versus “the young guns”.  Whilst the young guns took out the challenge, Andrew did post the fastest lap of the old drivers.

Andrew got to sit in the passenger seat for a change when he was offered a ride with the Big Ben Stunt Ute team during one of their shows in the arena.  Even the in car footage showed that Andrew enjoyed the experience.

With the Speedshow attendance over the weekend likely to be up on last year’s 19,000, it was a great opportunity for ITM Racing to increase our exposure.  The reviews on the new livery have all rated it as A++.  The ITM Racing team are now looking forward to getting 70 out on the track for pre-season testing in the coming months before the season starts at Pukekohe on November 6-7.
