New Slabber Head improves log feed speed and improves surface face checking.
Pinepac’s maintenance team successfully installed its new POWER HEAD in March and is enjoying the positive impacts on production speed and quality. The team installed the new equipment over a weekend and was up and running on the Monday with zero machine downtime recorded.
The impact on surface finish has been significant as well as chip quality. Staff received training from the Customer Service Manager at Andritz to ensure accurate and efficient changes with knives and their settings.
