Invercargill turned on brilliant sunshine for the CRC200 at Teretonga Park, a change from the wet weather we have experienced on our last two visits to the deep south.
Minor Holden upgrades were approved for this round so heading out for the first test session, the ITM Racing team were confident of having the car on the pace. The ITM Commodore was lacking rear grip and Andrew was struggling to do better than mid field. The team made changes but no real gain was found. His times were over a second slower than last year. With the balance slightly improved, Andrew was able to improve his times but the grip issues still haunted the car.
